Smith Distributors was founded in 1959 as a family business, selling primarily Hanes products. It was located in the upstate New York area. In 2010, it was acquired by ComfortKing USA, Inc., a New Jersey Corporation. That year, the location of the business moved from New York Mills, NY to Fairfield, NJ, which is a convenient place to serve the tri-state area, including New York City, and to ship all over the United States. ComfortKing USA, Inc. has expanded the business and now sells many brand name goods manufactured by HanesBrands, Inc., including Hanes, Champion, Bali, Playtex, Duofold, L’eggs, Just My Size, Maidenform and Lilyette. This company also sells Hanes, Bali, Maidenform, Playtex and Champion in Russia.
